This is a collection of Tikka Powder, as being sold on the street in Kathmandu. People use this powder to create the Tikkas that they wear on their foreheads.

This picture has not had the colour's touched at all... it really was that vibrant!

wow, i just got back from nepal and i know what you mean, i saw a stand with all the paint on it and it was so bright! did you go trekking at all?

wow - stunning colours, wonderful shot!

strange thing is, i always get pretty pale pictures from
my eos 350d. was this a RAW shot? what colour-space
do you use for your pictures? hope you don't mind
sharing those infos. TIA. :)

In the Parameters on the 350D, i have the saturation notched up a tad, which helps make the colours nice and rich. :-)

cool, thanks! i only had tuned sharpness a bit,
